Follow this recipe for the best bacon you’ll ever have:
What you’ll need:
Baking sheet- Tin foil
- Baking rack or any rack that fits
- Personal Butcher bacon, of course!
Get yourself prepped:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. (375 degrees if using convection)- You’ll want to bake on one of the middle racks for the most even cook, so position your rack accordingly.
- Line the baking sheet with tin foil and place the rack inside.
- In a single layer, arrange bacon on a rack.
Ready for the oven:
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. (Cooking times may vary depending on how crispy you like your bacon and how thick it is.)- After about 10 minutes, always check your bacon intermittently until desired crispiness is achieved.
- Transfer your golden brown bacon onto a plate lined with paper towels and blot to absorb excess grease.
It’s that simple. Enjoy your new chef skills and easy clean up!
Pro Tips:
Crumble leftover bacon (if there is such a thing in your household) and store in airtight container for 3-5 days for other recipes.- If you don’t have a rack, no worries. Simply line your sheet pan with tin foil and place bacon directly on tin foil in a single layer.
- You can use parchment paper in a pinch if you run out of tin foil.
