Description:
Another bite size option for your tailgates or football parties.
Ingredients:
  • 1 4oz package chili mix
  • 2 15oz cans black beans
  • 1 14.5oz can cut tomatoes
  • 2 cups ground beef or ground turkey
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 2 avocados, chopped
  • 2 cups green onions, chopped
Steps:
  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2 Add all ingredients to an oval roasting pan and stir together. If you prefer a thinner chili, add more water until desired consistency is reached.
  3. 3 Bake the chili in a preheated oven until desired thickness is reached (about 1 hour).
  4. 4 Boil or grill hot dogs and place each in a bun. Cut each hot dog into thirds and top with chili.
  5. 5 Sprinkle with cheese, top with desired amount of tomatoes, avocado, and green onions.
  6. 6 Bonus: Serve remaining chili in small bowls for guests to enjoy.
