Chili Lime Steak Tacos

This Cinco de Mayo, celebrate with these delicious Chili Lime Steak Tacos!
Ingredients:
- 1/2lb top sirloin steak
- 1 cup pico de gallo or salsa of your choice
- 4 corn tortillas
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 2/3 cup water
- Salt To Taste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice or 1 lime
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 2 jalapeƱos, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 1/3 cup cilantro leaves with tender stems, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Steps:
- 1 Place avocado, cilantro, lime juice, water, and salt in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and set aside
- 2 In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic, and lime juice
- 3 Rub the chili lime rub all over steak in a thin, even layer
- 4 Grill steak on grill or stove top to preferred wellness
- 5 Allow steak to rest for 5 to 10 minutes
- 6 Slice steak thinly, against grain of the meat
- 7 Prepare tacos by adding salsa or pico, avocado cilantro lime sauce and cilantro
- 8 Instructions for Pico De Gallo- Gently toss tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, garlic, cilantro, and lime juice into a small bowl. Season with salt. Let sit for 10 minutes for flavors to meld
- 9 Instructions for Chili Lime Rub- Combine chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, garlic, and lime juice in a small bowl to create dry rub
- 10 Instructions for Avocado Cilantro Lime Sauce- Combine avocado, cilantro, lime juice, water and salt in small bowl, mix until ingredients are combined
